The Mayor of Leamington, Cllr Ruggy Singh, visited Campion’s Nature Reserve and Plantation area on 15 July. The event was a friendly gathering aimed at fostering community spirit and celebrating the natural beauty of this area of land in the school grounds.
The occasion brought together our dedicated Eco Club pupils, volunteers from AGE UK and staff from Bridgestone, all participating in an afternoon of environmental appreciation. The Mayor took the opportunity to engage with volunteers and pupils alike, sharing words of encouragement and support for their ongoing conservation efforts.
It was a wonderful chance for volunteers of all ages to connect, learn and enjoy the natural surroundings and to celebrate the hard work and commitment to maintaining this special area of the school. The area is a valuable teaching resource, which is used regularly and the
Headteacher was able to thank those involved. Campion School Eco-Club looks forward to further initiatives that bring people together to care for, and celebrate, their local environment.
